Jennifer Gerbl and Jens Alberts from the CEIR team attended the 23rd European Society for Socially Embedded Technologies (EUSSET) Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work (ECSCW 2025) in Newcastle (UK) in July 2025.

Doctoral Colloquium

Jens took part in the doctoral colloquium together with eight other participants. A position paper was written and presented as a poster. His work is entitled “Investigating Coordinative Work Practices in Distributed Workgroups Using Narrative Networks” and can be found in the EUSSET Digital Library (https://dl.eusset.eu/handle/20.500.12015/5290)

Workshop on Hybrid Collaboration

Jennifer attended the 2nd International Workshop on Hybrid Collaboration – Analyzing Collaborative Interaction, where five position papers and ongoing research projects were presented. Among them was Jennifer’s work titled “Transitions Within the Flow of Work of Hybrid Workgroups“, which explores the role and nature of transitions in hybrid work settings. Her position paper introduces a longitudinal diary study approach to analyse the temporal and spatial rhythms and flows of hybrid collaboration. The full paper is available in the EUSSET Digital Library (https://doi.org/10.48340/ecscw2025_ws02_01).
